A wide-awake venue at the Hammer Museum

The Hammer Museum, one of Los Angeles’ premier arts institutions, is known for its wide-ranging and provocative exhibitions and programs. KBDA was hired to create a direct mail fundraising tool in support of the museum’s new Billy Wilder Theater. The theater’s signature pink leather seats and unique angled walls served as the key design motifs —a glimpse into a space that had yet to be unveiled.
