In order to increase visibility and fundraising, the Foundation hired KBDA to create a new branding platform. There were many factors to consider, including a lack of public aware­ness and the importance of fostering partnerships in the search for the cure. Within a year of the new launch, PCF expanded its donor base by 35%. Key partners such as Yahoo!, eBay, Safeway and Hugo Boss partnered on national fund­raising and awareness campaigns.
